Business Development Manager - Industry Finance (Field Based)

Major lessor, global and dynamic business, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for their Industry Finance team. The role involves identifying, acquiring, developing, and managing new business within the hard asset sector, specifically targeting the Construction, Transportation, and Manufacturing Equipment markets. This position emphasises developing new relationships with introducers and customers while managing existing accounts. It is a home-based role requiring frequent travel across the UK to support clients through a mix of in-person and remote meetings. The individual will work closely with the Sales Manager and the team to generate new business, meet sales targets according to goals and strategy, and manage risks. The role includes providing sales and product training within allocated accounts to enhance product knowledge and increase leasing penetration. Candidates must be self-driven, motivated, and focused on achieving results.

 

Broker Manager (Internal), Thames Valley

They have a newly created opportunity for a Broker Manager to manage the day-to-day relationships of a number of asset finance brokers. Will include the loading of proposals on to their decision platform and system, communication of decisions to brokers, and management of documentation for successful payment of deals. Acting as the prime point of contact for brokers and Credit Underwriting, working alongside Operations/pay-outs. Analyse and prepare credit submissions for approval. Manage the deal pipeline and process documentation relating to new business transactions. Embed and maintain strong working relationships with their Sales, Credit, Operations and Central Onboarding teams. Attend networking events as required, including customer, industry and broker meetings. Seeking a self-motivated, accountable and results orientated individual, able to quickly build relationships with customers and stakeholders. Office based but can offer good hybrid working options.

 

Sales Team Leader HiTech Vendor, Field Based

Our client, well established lessor, now seeking a Sales Team Leader, responsible for individual Channel Finance programs with Vendors, IT Resellers and providing guidance, direction, training in leading a team of Account Managers (3 reports). Building and maintaining strong partner relationships. Working collaboratively with other functions to deliver a first class service whilst maximizing UK volumes and profitability. Part of their Sales function reporting to their Head of High Tech Vendor. Needs strong leadership and mentoring skills, to inspire and motivate the team. Communicate clear instructions, provide feedback and support, delegating tasks and setting project deadlines. Developing strategies and making best use of the team’s skills to achieve shared objectives. It is likely that the successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ previous experience in a sales manager/team leader position, with a very good knowledge of the IT marketplace.

 

Business Development Manager - Broker-Introduced (Hard Assets)

Good existing long-term broker relationships with an existing nationwide field-based team of seven. This is a newly created position for a BDM, as part of their ongoing growth plans. Seeking an individual with a good knowledge and track record in this specific arena; involves creating new partnerships, whilst managing existing onboarded brokers with the full support from their dedicated internal sales and support teams. The successful candidate will thereby have a mix of new business and account management skills. A very proactive role, undertaking regular visits and attending relevant industry events. Focus on financing of “business critical assets”: Commercial Vehicles, Materials Handling, Construction, Machinery etc. Deals £100k/150k to £1-2 million. Lower cost funding facilities makes them extremely competitive on price. Strong underwriting/credit risk skills required in managing the approval of any complex proposals. Business Development Manager (Technology), UK South

Our international client is seeking a new business developer to support their Tech Solutions division. A newly created role, focusing on the acquisition of new partner relationships in the  Channel. Particular focus and attention on identifying and closing finance opportunities originating from their large value resellers. The successful candidate will be key in managing the strategy, growth and direction of this business. Needs a real hunter with drive, ambition and a winning attitude. You will take ownership of all key stages with your partners, managing your pipeline and collaborate with the regional team to drive finance penetration. Using your existing knowledge and experience, you will develop and grow the Channel reseller business primarily from new reseller relationships, but also using existing relationships (UK based) and other networks to open the doors of prospects targeted. Working within their existing prices, policies, products and services, you will be managing complex and structured accounts. You will thereby be comfortable preparing and presenting documentation for review in credit and risk approval committees, in need. Requires at least 5 years’ experience, with proven track record in building and developing scalable and sustainable long term new business.

 

Account Manager, Wholesale IT Solutions, S/East (UK)

Develop tools to manage Vendor lines allocations. Deal structuring will include pricing and financial product modelling, and contract structuring and negotiation that will include complex terms and conditions. Become an advocate for partners and customers while maintaining a strong risk v reward balance. Requires proven communication skills at all levels, particularly director level. The right candidate will ideally be based in the South.

Seeking experienced new business developers, targeting medium and large clients with annual financing needs of at least £1m. You will be key in managing your own growth and business direction. Using your existing knowledge, experience and contacts to identify, prioritise and target potential key customers. Being highly networked, by developing close relationships at senior levels to build long lasting partnerships. Often managing complex and structured transactions, you will work collaboratively with an outstanding credit risk team, with the assistance of other support functions. Our client offers commercial and leasing solutions to blue chip companies, financing equipment and providing energy solutions to both the public and private sectors. Their growth plans includes a newly created position, seeking an experienced sales manager to help grow their project division. Originating deals (eg. healthcare, education, energy) through a network of introducers, suppliers and direct customers. Project size can range from £500K to £15M. The right individual will have a proven track record of identifying  suitable sources of business (including the bringing onboard new introducers) and developing and maintaining lasting relationships to maximise business opportunities. With most being ongoing longer-term finance proposals it is important that candidates can show strong project and organisational skills. Will act as a main point of contact from the initial contact through to closing. Structuring and completing detailed large proposals, needing good knowledge of key credit risk requirements. Must be confident with leasing documentation and managing any legal matters. Very flexible on any applicants home location.
