Well established bank, part of a global business, with European offices across 20+ countries. They provide vendor and equipment finance in the Hi-tech, Transport, Construction, Industrial, Medical, Public Sector and Agricultural market. This is a UK role, to take responsibility for most of their hard asset divisions, with a view to growing business in line with key target objectives. This opportunity has come about following an internal promotion. Responsibilities will include managing a team (10 reports) - both internal and external account managers, focused on delivering a quality service to vendors and dealers. Developing relationships with existing and new manufacturers and suppliers in the plant, construction equipment, machine tool, handling and logistics sectors. Requires a good in-depth knowledge of all finance products and funding structures. Must have a strong knowledge of the market sectors within this range of equipment. Typical transaction size will range from £50k to £2m however smaller flow business and large transactions will also feature. The individual will need to be a confident leader and be able to work at CEO level with a proven track-record of managing a successful sales team. UK HQ based close to London.

Reporting to the MD of this strong and growing worldwide IT leasing corporation. Managing a small team of experienced UK field based sales managers, with additional personal responsibility for managing the relationship with their single largest business partner. Our client has real plans to double in size during the next few years. The successful candidate will therefore need to lead a larger team with greater people leadership responsibilities over time. They will continue to work with banks, IT vendors and using direct corporate routes, utilising unique IT solutions. They will be expected to make strategic contributions, and must have a dynamic hands-on approach and entrepreneurial flair. Flexible on location, though their UK offices are based in the Home Counties. Would ideally suit someone with a strong background in ICT leasing, and knowledge of IT life cycle management issues. This may also prove a rare opportunity for someone with the right personality traits and drive, who may not yet have a sales leadership track-record, but wants to be considered as a next career step into people management. Exact salary range will be disclosed to suitably qualified candidates, with on-target earnings in excess of £100,000.

Supporting a major joint venture, the successful candidate will manage the whole of their UK & Ireland leasing sales and operations of this well-known worldwide manufacturer. Seeking good hard-asset experience, with knowledge of sectors such as Construction, Materials Handling and Agriculture. To ensure the implementation of their global strategy decided by the Board, agree budget, and support manufacturer salespeople with a leasing team of 12 field-based Area Managers nationwide. You will also manage Internal Sales. Regular communication essential, and to be the central point of contact for their finance, sales & marketing, national key accounts and the credit & processing team. To appeal credit decision which may result in commercial issues for dealers. Preparation of the annual budget and to propose annual sales & marketing plan. Strong commercial focus and results driven, with previous managerial experience within Vendor Finance vital. Needs someone able to access manufacturers’ head office, so ideally living somewhere between Essex and the East Midlands.

This is a significant appointment, offering the rare
opportunity to develop and head-up a new Financial Services organisation, to
support the UK activities of a well known major European Group. The successful
applicant will be responsible for the ongoing and future management of all
financial services functions. There will be an initial heavy focus on the
implementation of all necessary processes and controls, across sales, compliance,
risk management, IT systems, legal & accounting and the roll out of all new
related back-office functions. This challenging role will also involve the
development of high level Group senior management relationships, and negotiating
with funding providers, including the sourcing of new funding streams from
lessors and banks. The ideal individual will need to be very hands-on and benefit
from good all round “general management” type exposure, with similar
past experience in managing major projects expected.
