Broker Business Development Manager (Midlands)

A well-established City based Bank, seeking an experienced new business broker manager to build on the banks “hard asset” book, seeking decent credits with superior returns. Main focus on commercial vehicles, construction, plant & machinery, agri. Deals from £10k, but generally £50k-£100k, up to £1/1.5M. Reporting directly into their Head of Sales (Asset Finance) you would be managing about 70 existing brokers, marketing and developing those relationships, as well as generating some business through the bank’s existing clients. Analyse, negotiate and structure proposals so that they may be presented to credit committee for approval and progress sanctioned proposals to drawdown with the help of your own allocated sales support team. This is a home based position, mainly covering the Midlands, though also managing some brokers across to Wales, and further East to East Anglia. So, some flexible on any applicants’ location, though someone actually living in the Midlands would be ideal.
