Our client, a major lessor, seeks an experience salespeople, with a focus on new business development. Industrial equipment, will include manufacturing & engineering; such as metal machine working tools, plastics, automation, robotics, production lines etc. Even split across all key channels: broker, vendor/dealer and direct business. This is a home based position, reporting directly into their UK Sales Manager - Industrial Equipment. A nationwide territory, but most clients/customers are predominantly in the South, so someone living close to their Southern based offices would be ideal. Average deals £150k-£200k although transactions can vary from as low as £50k to £several millions. Responsible for the achievement of new business volumes at targeted return levels, through the development of strong relationships. Implementation of effective plans for new business acquisition. Ability to structure and present credit submissions by working closely with areas such as Asset Management, Risk, Commercial, Financial Planning and Analysis etc. So, essential to be able to communicate complex and technical issues clearly and succinctly.
Sales Manager - Team Leader, Broker Business, South

Major client seeking an experienced individual to lead and manage their UK Brokers and Block Channel. This is a leadership role managing an existing team of 3 direct reports. Applicants need to show clear leadership and people development capabilities, in executing on talent strategies. With Brokers-introduced and Block being an important part of their business, they will require someone with strong business acumen and drive to deliver on sales targets and hit budgetary objectives. Working closely with the Sales Director and Internal Sales Manager to create, develop and execute the business sales strategy. This role will require strong influencing skills, and good collaboration in evolving the business alongside market changes. Given that there will be some complexity with larger transactions, the right person will also need good credit risk experience, in managing exposures and risk in line with expectations. Although a home based position, the person needs to be able to access their Thames Valley based offices regularly.

Managing contacts via CRM systems; including pricing, quotations and approvals. Raise and issue documents for reviewing with clients prior to signature. Managing document submissions to lessors through to pay-out. Maintain regular communication with all parties including lessor, client & supplier. Seeking a confident individual with sales experience in asset finance lending. Needing excellent communication and relationship building skills. Commercially aware with a pragmatic “can-do” approach. Working alongside other experienced account managers, to support field based Relationship Managers to build and maintain excellent relationships in a drive to increased sales from vendor/dealer/ broker partners. Maximising their UK new business volumes and profitability. Having a minimum of 3 years’ experience, and able to discuss financing requirements, negotiate pricing and close deals. Together with Relationship Managers undertake personal visits to clients when required. The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar field-based role. Knowledge and experience in construction, transportation and material handlings industries preferred, together with a good understanding of dealership\supplier support. The role requires a significant degree of self-motivation and tenacity to achieve target objectives in expanding their vendor business. Work in conjunction with Internal Account Managers and Head of Sales to ensure that there are adequate processes and procedures in place. Needs good credit skills to present deals and challenge when required. Home based role, with UK office close to London.

With many longstanding relationships with manufacturers and suppliers across the UK, they offer good knowledge and understanding of the financial needs of dental, medical, optical and veterinary practitioners. They are now looking to expand their nationwide cover, seeking at least two experienced business development managers. Their initial growth plans requires two BDM’s based around S/East - London, or else living South West/Bristol. The successful candidates will need to evidence a good track-record of attracting new business using their “medical” industry experience. This will hopefully include attending relevant exhibitions. Some larger project experience preferred, such as a total practice refurbishment involving different suppliers. A very professional and patient approach essential.

Requires a good understanding of credit risk, and ability to support and restructuring proposals in need. The right candidate needs to be suitably located to cover Central London, Thames Valley, and region down to the South Coast. Seeks an enthusiastic “can do” attitude with a strong business development track record.
