Our client is the captive of a global, blue chip equipment manufacturer. Currently seeking a Sales Manager with at least 5 years’ experience, to cover a patch from Midlands (south), down towards Reading and across to Bristol & South West. Construction sector knowledge would prove an advantage, although not essential. Closely supporting their dealers in order to maximise asset finance business, with strong focus on yield, market penetration, customer satisfaction and meeting productivity objectives. The Territory Manager will build good business relationships with local key accounts, developing and controlling a strong dealer network. Often conducting end user negotiations to maximise business written. Structuring new credit applications for submission to their underwriting function, and monitoring competitor activity. Requires good experience of vendor finance and dealer programmes in a hard-asset environment.
Regional Sales Manager “Hard Assets”, Northern Region

Our client is a major European bank, with ongoing growth plans, already having an existing team of Regional Managers covering the whole of the UK. Now seeking to hire a highly experienced and successful salesperson to manage a specific Northern territory: Nottingham to the Scottish borders (including Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle). The client is quickly becoming a leading provider of asset finance in the direct marketplace, and the successful candidate will be tasked to build new direct corporate business, as well as maintaining existing relationships. Focus on “hard assets” - material handling, transportation, construction, industrial etc. Average deals £500k-£1M, whilst setting-up larger lines. As well as vanilla transactions they are quite used to more complex structures, offering a “tool box” of products, achievable through close cooperation with their credit risk/asset management teams. Reporting to their Sales Director, applicants will have a strong existing portfolio of clients. RSM’s will be allocated their own Commercial Sales Assistant to support their new business. Our client is a well established asset finance company, seeking an experienced new business broker manager to grow their already considerable broker portfolio. A field based role reporting directly into their Broker Sales Manager. Seeking an individual with an established track record in broker management to cover an agreed defined regional territory. Maintaining and developing close and sustainable relationships; including providing the usual training and general business support. Focus on the financing of “critical assets”, hard-assets including commercial vehicles, trucks, trailers, buses, coaches, agricultural equipment, industrial plant & machinery and machine tools. Tier 2/3 business, deals from £10k, but generally £50k-£100k, up to £1-3 million. They currently have nationwide coverage, with an experienced internal sales team, offering excellent office-based sales support for new regional broker managers. Very flexible as to applicants locations with their significant plans to expand.

Reporting into an experienced Team Leader (covering all hard-asset sectors), the successful candidate needs to have had a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role. With many longstanding relationships with manufacturers and suppliers across the UK, they offer good knowledge and understanding of the financial needs of dental, medical, optical and veterinary practitioners. They are now looking to expand their nationwide cover, seeking at least two experienced business development managers. Their initial growth plans requires two BDM’s based around S/East - London, or else living South West/Bristol. The successful candidates will need to evidence a good track-record of attracting new business using their “medical” industry experience. This will hopefully include attending relevant exhibitions. Some larger project experience preferred, such as a total practice refurbishment involving different suppliers. A very professional and patient approach essential.
