Remarketing/Asset Sales Specialist, Hard Assets (Home Based/Flex on Location)

Our client is seeking an experienced Remarketing and Asset Sales Manager. A newly created role to develop new partnerships, and expanding current channels, in purchasing suitable assets and remarketing used equipment sourced from finance contracts or obtained via auctions houses, manufacturers, specialist dealers, other third party sources. The primary focus will be on the UK, but you will also support and promote international remarketing. You will need to provide specific technical knowledge and expertise in Construction, Transport and Agriculture assets. Set-up partnerships in line with guidelines with regards risk management, legal/compliance and other commercial considerations. In developing an extensive database of seller and buyer contacts, researching and analysing ¬†targeted markets and developing an understanding of market price levels. Ability to perform detailed technical asset inspections and provide necessary reports. Seeking a minimum of 5 years’ experience with a strong tactical view. Very flexible on applicants’ location; the individual will need to attend their South based offices only occasionally.



Asset Manager - Transportation/Industrial Equipment, South

Our client, a major international financial services provider seeks an experienced Asset Manager to proactively manage all aspects, from valuing equipment in order to set appropriate residual values, managing the portfolios of assets throughout the life of the asset, as well as optimising end of lease income through either sale, return or the extension of lease agreements. Needing at least 5 years’ experience, with strong knowledge of Transportation (trucks, trailers, bus & coach), Construction, Machine Tools, general Industrial assets. Interacting with their sales teams/other departments, as well as re-marketing specialists, service providers, manufacturers, whilst maintaining strong customer relationships. Build a firm knowledge of assets, structure and external market factors in order to inform and make risk based decisions. Report financial performance, future projections and any potential high levels of risk on the portfolio to the Head of Asset Management. Will need to be someone who can regularly access their offices, based Greater London.



Asset Management Specialist, London

Newly created position, working within the leasing division of a major bank. Asset Management is part of their Risk division and the successful candidate will work closely with an existing Asset Manager to assess the value of the assets acquired, set appropriate residual values and manage in-life and end of life asset risk. Requires strong management methods at both asset level and on a portfolio basis. Mainly “hard-assets”, transportation, construction, medical equipment, some bigger-ticket assets, soft-assets when good credits. To ensure that risk management of the assets is achieved throughout the entire term, with this department charged with developing their expertise and provide asset management advice and support for all Sales, Marketing and Credit Management departments. You will therefore have regular direct contact with their client base, with manufacturers, with remarketing partners and with possible buyers. Your internal stakeholders will be Sales, Risk and Recovery.

On behalf of a client, we are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to assume responsibility for strategy, policy and oversight of a EUR 1.5+bln portfolio of healthcare and clean technology assets. The role will be involved in all aspects of Asset Management, including providing advice for the Remarketing function. It will further have significant involvement in new BD and program development. European experience is essential, in particular across the three countries mentioned above.

The successful candidate will have 5-10 years relevant experience & an expert knowledge of the key relevant asset classes (to include Imaging, Surgical, Laboratory, Life Sciences and Emergency Vehicles). Knowledge and experience of Wind and Energy Efficiency assets would also be beneficial. A commercial mindset and a willingness to travel are also essential attributes.
